The first Fiesta Flambeau® Parade rolled down the streets of San Antonio in 1948. Since its inception, the Fiesta Flambeau® Parade has grown to rival other national parades. This illuminated parade lights up the streets of downtown San Antonio on a 2.8 mile route. As the evening turns to night, the parade fills with spectacular lights and sounds from an average of 150 parade entries. Many entries include local bands, dance groups and floats, in addition to international marching groups. Moreover, parade entries from across the United States have trekked to San Antonio to participate in this annual parade.
The Fiesta Flambeau® Parade Association is comprised of a dedicated group of volunteer members from all walks of life. Through the Executive Board, sponsors are secured to assist in funding the parade. Parade entries and floats are closely screened to assure a spectacular family entertainment venue.
Tickets are $25 for Alamo Grandstands; $20 for Cenotaph stands; $15 for Alamo Street Bleachers-North (Travis/Houston), Alamo Street Bleachers-South (Crockett/Commerce) and Alamo Plaza Bleachers; and $12 for Maverick and Broadway Bleachers.
