Sitting atop the Grand Hyatt at 610 E. Market St., Alteza Residences offer luxurious condos and penthouses with breathtaking views in the middle of thriving downtown San Antonio. Residents are within walking distance of arts venues, historical sites, shopping, dining and entertainment.
Adjacent to the River Walk, Alteza merges luxury hotel service and amenities with cosmopolitan condominium living on floors 25-33 of the Hyatt. Residents can enjoy city views from their private balcony or terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows. They can entertain at home or make use of the Hyatt amenities, including restaurants, lounges, fitness center and rooftop pool.
“Alteza Residences combines luxury living with the exceptional service of a worldclass hotel to make the living experience incomparable,” said Raymond McCall, executive vice president of TX Riverwalk Residences, LP.
Completed in 2010, Alteza Residences is comprised of 147 condos up to 4,451 square feet. Currently, Alteza has available homes ranging from 773 square feet to 3,690 square feet.
Alteza is 53 percent sold with 75 homes occupied. There are a total of six penthouses, with four sold and two currently available.
Prices begin in the mid-$300s for one-bedroom homes, mid-$500s for more spacious two bedroom
homes, and penthouses are available starting at $998,900.
The residences feature 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and windows, private balconies overlooking the Tower of the Americas or downtown cityscape, designer kitchens with granite finishes, tile accents and Sub-Zero and Bosch appliances.
The Alteza closed on 26 homes in 2014, totaling more than $16 million in sales. As the demand for luxury condominium living in San Antonio continues to rise, the luxury highrise is anticipating continued success this year as well.
“The desire for a lock-and-leave lifestyle, luxury amenities and unmatched service drove sales through the roof during 2014,” McCall said. “We sold six residences alone in the fourth quarter, totaling $5,054,600 in closings. This surge of activity demonstrates promising momentum.”
In 2014, the Texas Association of Realtors reported that townhomes and condominiums were a popular housing option in the Texas housing market.
Dan Hatfield, immediate past chairman of the Texas Association of Realtors, stated at the time that “the thriving economic growth in Texas’ major metro areas has led to a revitalization and redevelopment of our urban centers, providing new needs and opportunities for condo development.”
“Condos offer greater affordability and inventory than other housing types on the market and, as a result, are playing an increasingly important role in the Texas housing market as a whole,” he added.
Alteza residents have all of the privileges and amenities of a Grand Hyatt guest but with a private entrance and elevator lobby and private clubroom. Membership is available to Alteza residents to the 24-hour glass enclosed fitness center featuring the latest high-tech cardio and weight machines, including treadmills, cross trainers and bikes. Residents enjoy room service, housekeeping, valet parking and 24-hour lobby concierge.
Located adjacent to the private resident pool on the 32nd floor, the Club Room provides convenient access to all the comforts of home within steps of the sun deck in the sky. The Club Room is home to a catering kitchen and seating areas for private meetings and social events.
There has been a high level of interest in Alteza’s penthouse residences, “which are now in short supply, McCall said. “The market is hot and prices are escalating, but Alteza is priced to sell. We are thrilled with Alteza’s continued success and look forward to another year of record-breaking numbers.”
Recently, Downtown Alliance San Antonio awarded Alteza “Best of Residential.”
